News anchor Natasha Kaplinsky, 35, announced that she was three months pregnant at the beginning of April 2008. Kaplinsky married banker Justin Bower in 2005 and this will be her first child. The news came just six weeks after she was signed to Five News and became the UK’s highest earning newsreader with a salary of around £1m a year – that’s a lot of maternity pay!
